Notes

Bright and fresh Cuban Mojo Pork Bowls
These Cuban Mojo Pork Bowls are built on juicy, grilled secreto pork and a punchy citrus-garlic marinade that doubles as your finishing sauce.

Pro Tips

  • Fresh citrus + fresh garlic only. It matters here.
  • Don’t skip the reserved sauce step.
  • Secreto cooks fast, and is really high quality pork. Pull it before it overcooks.
  • You can absolutely use flank steak or skirt steak here. Even thinly sliced chicken breast or salmon would be delicious.

FAQs

What is secreto pork? A thin, marbled cut from the shoulder area, known for being tender and flavorful when grilled.

Can I use another cut? Yes. You can really use any thin cut protein here. Flank or skirt steak is a great swap!

Can I make this without a grill? Use a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
